Private Jet Charter - Safety

If you haven't flow on a private jet before, you could assume that all charter operators with operating certificates from the FAA are equally safe. However this is not the case as the FAA does not have the resources to monitor the nearly 2500 air charter companies.

Jet Safety - FAA PArt 135

In all areas concerning the safety of private jet operation and emergency procedures, ACS seeks suppliers who meet or exceed FAA 135 requirements. Federal guidelines ensure the safety conditions for all jet aircraft.

Part 135 of the Federal Aviation Administration aircraft certification process is designed for standard private jets, (aircraft with less than nine seats). Aircraft that fail to meet these criteria do not fly. To become Part 135 certified, a plane and its crew are fully evaluated by government criteria and inspectors.

Going further that other US Air Charter Companies

Air Charter Service Inc. is committed to the highest level of security and safety for our clients. To prove our commitment to private jet safety, ACS became a Wyvern Authorized Broker. The requirements of The Wyvern Standard were developed in conjunction with the most sophisticated and demanding flight departments in the world.

Safety systems in place at ACS

Before arranging any private jet charter, ACS can check an aircraft's level of safety, using the Wyvern PASS system (see example PASS Report). For those passengers who are not currently an ACS customers there is an FAA database which will access the basic safety requirements.
